I used a combination of one nail and double sided adhesive tape to hand on the wall.

Age of youngest child: 2-4
Age of oldest child: 2-4

Traditionally, we'd recommend nails for hanging the fabric letters. However, if you're looking for a solution that does not alter the wall, you may be able to find some stick-on, removable hooks at your local hardware or home improvement store.
