Our Cube Collection pieces feature solid rubberwood framing and molding; the shelves and panels are made of MDF. The Honey and Espresso panels are finished with a pine veneer.

It's difficult to say at what age a child will be able to reach the hooks since this will really depend on the size of the child. The hooks are approximately 55" from the ground, and the child will have to reach over approximately 12-14" of the drawer base to reach the hooks.
