The edges of the product only have a distressed line that runs nearly to the end. So it is solid in color throughout, with tailored 'distressed' lines that border the edges.

Our "gently rubbed finish" means that paint has been sanded from some of the edges to give the piece a distressed look.

By solid construction, we mean that the piece is well-built and sturdy. The legs, frame, and knobs of the Jenny Lind Dresser are made of solid poplar. The top, back, bottom, and side panels are made of MDF.
