Question

Will bed rails work with Oak Park bed?

So, I'm reading all of the reviews about this Oak Park bed, and everyone seems to love it, and talk about how easily their young child can crawl in and out of it. We just ordered this bed today and assumed we would put bed rails on it...but it seems like people are almost describing this bed as a platform bed...and when I look at the pics, it looks like the mattress sits down inside the wood frame, which makes us think there is no way we could use bed rails with this bed. Has anyone with this bed tried to use bed rails? Please let us know!

Bed rails will not work with this bed. I have a 2 year old and he is fine with getting down from the bed.

We do not offer guardrails for the Oak Park Bed. The bed is similar to a platform style bed in that it doesn't have a footboard, but the mattress actually sits on slats rather than a solid platform, which may pose a challenge when looking for a suitable guardrail.

The MDF used in our Oak Park Collection has small amounts of formaldehyde present, but it meets all applicable US safety regulations and is California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant.
