Is the lampshade supposed to just sit on top of the bulb?
In the photographs of the lamp there seems to be something at the top of the lampshade-this is missing from the lamp i have. It seems dangerous and not complete for the lampshade to be sitting on the bulb. Am i missing a part?

The lamp shade sits on a metal harp that goes over the top of the bulb, and a finial screws into the top of the harp to keep the shade in place. The harp is included with the lamp and will be taped to the packing material inside the box with the lamp. Do not use the lamp without the harp.
