The pin at the top of the globe is locked by a small rectangular lock. Push this lock toward the center of the pin while lifting the pin in order to remove it. Then slide the top of the holder slightly off the top of the globe and lift the globe off the base. The light bulb is in the base. Reassemble by following these instructions in reverse.

Unplug from the outlet before changing the bulb. Release the clip at the top of the meridian and pull out the plastic sleeve. (For models without the clip, simply lift the meridian out of the top hole.) Remove time dial. Rotate the globe sphere, to the side and down, to an angle of about 60 degrees. Lift the globe carefully to allow the lower hole of the globe to slide across the socket and bulb. At this point, you can change the bulb and then follow the directions in reverse to mount the globe back onto the base.
